Natural Language Query Interface / Time Series Forecasting
Abstract: In this talk, I will give an introduction on two threads of studies conducted in my lab, natural language query interface and time series forecasting. Starting with presenting the challenges and opportunities existing in these two research areas, I will discuss our efforts in building natural language query interface to ease query preparation to knowledge bases and relational databases, and a state-of-the-art time series forecasting engine to predict demands in various kinds of applications. These studies are built on deep neural networks.
